Woke up at 11:15 thinking I was going to a barbeque and frisbee tournament at 12. I met up with Jeff, Mo, David, Jia, and Tao there but there was hardly anyone else there so we decided to ditch, since it’d cost us 4.50+3 for subway and food. We didn’t think it was worth it. Headed to rubin for more poker (lost badly again but getting the hang of it) and then weinstein… what did we do … I cannot remember today. OH we went to mo’s room and watched Mo and David and Frank play ava. The rest of us sat around and drooled while they played video games. We did that for like a few hours. Oh before that we had lunch. QUIZNOS :DDD Then we went to the lounge after AVA was done to play more poker. I got Chickfila before poker (at like 5?) and this is my freshman 15 saying helloooo. Hello!

Played a lot of poker. Everyone harrasses me because I have chips and I’m the nicest person and i’ll lend my chips out. I keep lending to Jon who never freaking pays me back and to Mo who ALWAYS owns me with the chips i lend to him.

After poker left for rubin ish with jeff and michael and saw some ASK THE PROFESSOR type of seminar thing. Came upstairs, took a shower, sitting at my computer now.

Floor meeting at 10:30 (in 20 minutes)

Saturday Sep 4

This was the day I slept at 5 in the lounge at another dorm. I went back to my dorm, slept till 120. Then I ate lunch at downstein (BUFFET!!) with David, Jeff, Tiffany my roomie, Terry, Arthur, Doug, and … some kid whose name I forget. Meeting too many people makes me forget names x_x. But yeah it was all cool, we went back to weinstein lounge (duh) to play cards. Learned some interesting new card games. Then I left to go shopping at Kmart with my roomies. Kmart freaking ran out of refrigerators!! Makes me so sad :’( This weekend a lot of my friends went back to New Jersey or Long Island or w/e to their parents like you UT/UTSA-ers go home to Sugar Land. Many people weren’t here. I ate with my floor at Palladium buffet (it wasn’t that great ._.) and then came back to Mo’s dorm at Weinstein to watch scary stuff. We played Hotel 626 and watched Jon freak out so much LOL and then we watched a scary Korean movie called APT that freaked the crap out of us sooo much we were scared to walk home. Walked home and I felt fine hahaha xD

Sunday Sep 5

Woke up at 10:15 to go to Church. It was a welcome week event that introduced freshmen to churches and we went to a church called City Grace. It was a nice small and quaint church, very multi-ethnic and mostly college kids. People were welcoming and I met a lot of nice people. The message was kind of boring to me but actually insightful at some points. It actually inspired me to think about my situation in a different light and it made today one of my best days since I got to NYU…so I guess I should say the message is really excellent and effective LOL. I don’t know if I’ll go back next week, didn’t get the feeling.

got back to the dorm and decided to go to the bookstore. There was like a freaking food carnival on Broadway that I wandered around by myself for a while and I saw some awesome jewelry and THAI TEA :D but I was too cheap to buy one :< Bought some books (omg im spending so much money on freaking books.) came back to the dorm and saw on fb that the group was planning to go to times square and play poker tonight. Slept for 2 hours.

Met up with Jon at my dorm and walked to weinstein. Mo, David, Xindi, Dana, Jon, and I went together to the subway and got to Times Square. Olive Garden was packed so we went to TGIF. Food was good but SO EXPENSIVE and the calorie counts were on there and made us cry xD We had good laughs (HIS DERIVATIVE IS OVER 9000!!!) and then Tao joined us. Left Times Square, got on subway, got back to Weinstein.

Jeff and May joined us and we played some awesome poker. Jon kept losing so bad, I was raking in the money, and he had to borrow so many chips from me xDDD it was HILARIOUS bc every round I’d give him like 20 bucks and he’d lose immediately and ask me for more. I was a bank :D I won a LOT. Let’s play more hold em when I come back pls. We all laughed so hard at Jon’s failness that our abs hurt like a mofo.

David and Mo went to play ava. The rest of us chilled around the lounge, listened/sang to korean+american+twdrama music and we then went downstairs to the piano room where Jeff proceeded to wow us all with his skills. I played some piano too but it was sad. Went back to David and Mo’s room so Tao could also play some Hotel 626. His reactions weren’t as funny as Jon’s :( After that Jeff, May, Dana, Jon, Tao, and I walked back to our respective dorms and HURR I AM~~

BBQ + frisbee tomorrow :D
